Here is a quick update on the new movie by Fox Faith Films, ‘Thr3e.’
I was disappointed with the film, to say the least. The biggest problem with the movie was that it made no attempt to be overtly Christian. While that might be welcomed by some, it was not by me. Unlike the other high quality Christian films to come out in recent years, this one fails in my mind because it tried too hard to be subtle about Christianity. That aspect of the movie notwithstanding, it was still a high quality film. And yet, it could have been so much more.
I did not read Ted Dekker’s book, which the movie is adapted from, but I can only hope the book was more clear-cut as a Christian book.
